Timefo Privacy Policy

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by the consumer (such information at registration time, and all information about timelines and events). The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages and the quality of our service, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services the you have requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  1. It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
  2. We transfer information about you if StudioMedius or Timefo is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, StudioMedius will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

INFORMATION GATHERING AND USAGE

When you register for Timefo we ask for information such as email address, and username.

StudioMedius uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provisioning, identification and authentication, services improvement, and to contact you if necessary.

COOKIES

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive.

Cookies are required to use the Timefo service.

We use cookies to record current session information, but do not use permanent cookies. You are required to log-in to the Timefo Site after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.

CLIENT DATA STORAGE

Although StudioMedius owns the data storage, databases and all rights to the Timefo application, you retain all rights to your data and we will never sell or share your client data with any third-parties, contact your clients directly.

Timefo and StudioMedius will never publicly distribute information about you. However, Timefo is a public website, and any information your put into the Timefo Service and make public will be viewable by people all over the world. Therefore, it is recommended that you do not use specific details about your life that may make it easy for someone to identify who you are. For instance, if you make a timeline about your life, it is ok to put the city where were born, but you might not want to put the name of the hospital. Likewise, you might not want to put specific street addresses of places where you have lived. You can, however, restrict who can see your timeline and this can minimize the exposure of your personal data. We strongly recommend that you restrict any timeline on which you put sensitive data.

The information you put into the Timefo Sytem is yours and you may delete it at any time simply by canceling your account in the "My Account" section of the application. When you delete your account all of your data will be deleted immediately, including all of your timelines and the data associated with them.

DISCLOSURE

StudioMedius may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.

CHANGES

StudioMedius may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the email address associated with your Timefo account holder, or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
